Westford Emergency Veterinary Staff

Cindy Cesar

DVM

Dr. Cindy Cesar was raised in Providence, Rhode Island, and knew from a very young age that veterinary medicine is what she wanted to do when she grew up. She graduated from Rhode Island College with a B.S. in Biology and a minor and Chemistry, then took a few years off to work with the animals at her local zoo and a small animal practice close to home. After that, she went on to further her education and obtained her veterinary degree from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2019.

Dr. Cesar continued her training in a vigorous internship at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment & Specialties in Walpole, MA. After completing the program in 2020, she discovered that emergency medicine was where her passion was and joined our team here at Westford Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center.

When not in the hospital, Dr. Cesar likes to spend time outdoors, kayaking, reading, binge-watching Netflix series, and traveling. Her favorite thing to do is try new cuisines around the world and sharing snacks and making memories with her fiancé, James, her two dogs, Maggie and Gracie, and her cats, Mosque and Ellie.
