Kathryn Weiss

Dr. Weiss earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at SUNY Geneseo, and a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan before deciding to become a clinician. She graduated from Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Her rotating internship training was completed at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. She trained as a Neurology intern at Canada West in Vancouver before her Neurology/Neurosurgery residency at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Grafton. She has practiced Neurology in the Boston area for 4 years before joining the WVERC team to start their Neurology service.
Dr. Weiss is trained in clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery, and is looking forward to working with primary care vets for urgent care as well as long-term management of neurologic conditions.
In her spare time, she keeps busy renovating her 160 year old house, running, knitting, and boating of any kind.
