Amy P.
Lead CVT Tech
As our Lead CVT Tech known for her fun sense of humor, Amy helps coordinate and schedule cases. Asked what her favorite part of the job is, she says, “Being a part of a case from beginning to end is extremely rewarding. I love any challenge a critical case brings, and that anesthesia is always evolving. So, continuous learning is necessary. I love to teach and help my peers as much as possible.”
Amy graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science from UMass Amherst. She also has an associate degree in Veterinary Technology from Becker College and an associate degree in Science from Massachusetts Community College. She has 13 years of experience in the field and joined us in February of 2023.
Amy has two amazing cats: a 12-year-old named Atreya and a three-year-old named Sneakers (aka Sneaky Sneaks). She loves taking Sneakers to family vacations and walking him on a kitty leash! When she’s not working, she enjoys camping and traveling with her family as much as possible, making jewelry, beadwork and metal smithing, woodworking, rollerblading, and hiking. Amy is also a girl scout leader.
